"Instead, there is an Unknown Nature to our world."[1] -Gregorsa during a lecture.

In the Humans-B-Gone! There are abnormalities that are different to the ones we know.

The Unknown Nature is deemed a singular idea with multiple parts involved that has effects in multiple different ways. Currently, we don't have an explination of most of the Unknown Nature or its gathering parts. One thing that has been confirmed is the fact that the Unknown Nature applies differently to Different entities. What we currently known is explained down below.

Conquering the Square-Cube Law[]

The square-cube law states, "When an object undergoes a proportional increase in size, its new volume is proportional to the cube of the multiplier and its new surface area is proportional to the square of the multiplier."[2] Due to this statement, Macrovolutes could not survive regularly due to the fact that their internals would just fall out of the exoskeleton due to the size and weight of the internals.[3] But what we know is there is no gravity there.[1] The Unknown Nature instead has a film over objects that keeps it rooted down, at a normal humans size it has the same effect of gravity.[4] At the size of macrovolutes it's barely noticeable. Due to the size of humans, they can escape the Unknown Nature, even if its for a breif moment.[5] Humans can also walk on walls due to the Unknown Nature.[6] Because of this, a simple jail can be created. Sophodra uses this to capture Gubs in her backpack.[7] Another thing to note is the fact that a gravity-like effect does start to happen after a set point, things like heavy loads can effect entities, this can be seen with Rose carrying the Mother of Thousand.[8][9] How the gravity-like effect works is it adds up over time. Rev Storm likes to explain it as a "gravity debt." The farther they are from a surface that can support macrovolutes, the gravity starts to multiplies more and more. This can easily lead to falling to death. But this can easily be avoided by flying, though.[10]

Surface Tension of Water[]

Surface tension of water works different as well, and is not consistent for individuals. Most individuals can be "trapped" by the surface tension. That means they can breach the water but can't break through the surface tension to free themselves from the water. This can easily result in drowning. Amphibians like frogs have a different reaction though, they can easily break the water tension and return back to the surface.

Rotation of Wheels[]

The Unknown Nature also has an effect on the rotation of wheels, causing their function to be unreliable at a human scale and making the use of wheeled vehicles for humans impractical. Due to this, humans on Tricularia use sledges to transport heavy objects.[11]
